[The solution]

One media network instead of chaos

Cadenza unites content, devices, and monitoring into a single system. One center decides what plays and shows, and when, at every location.
[Where to start]

Start small

Roll the system out gradually: begin with a single player and scale it as your business needs grow.
One location — Mertalab device configuration
Unison

One location

Standalone content control at a single location.

Several zones — Mertalab device configuration
Multizone

Several zones

Unified control within one location.

Large site — Mertalab device configuration
Prima

Large site

A local media server for complex scenarios.

Network of locations — Mertalab device configuration
Cloud

Network of locations

Centralized control of a distributed network.

At every one of these steps it's the same system — only the scale grows. We'll help you figure out where to start.

[Content]

One control mechanism
for any media content

Music

Playlists and schedules tuned to the location and time of day

Video

Clips on screens — from storefronts to halls

Ad spots

Campaigns in the right zones and locations, on schedule

Info screens

Menus, wayfinding, and posters on displays

Voice announcements

Paging from your phone straight to a zone, in the browser

One loop

One delivery, one control, one management system.

Every type of content arrives in a single dashboard — and rolls out across your network by your rules.

Voice announcements are paging from your phone straight to the right zone — no radios or apps (works in the browser). Details on the Vox device page.
[How it works]

How it works

All content travels from upload to report inside one system. Simple for you — reliable on site.
  1. 01

    Upload content

Music, ads, announcements, video, and more — in a couple of clicks.

  2. 02

    Assign locations

Pick locations, zones, and schedules. Flexible and scalable.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Content is delivered to devices automatically over the local network and the cloud.

  4. 04

    Play back

Devices play content on schedule and keep working even if the internet drops.

  5. 05

    Get statistics

Statistics flow back into the system: what played, where, and how many times.

Autonomy
when the link drops

When the connection drops, devices switch to isolated mode. The cloud only strengthens the system — it doesn't keep it afloat.
Equipment plays the media plan from internal memory on its own until the connection is restored.

[Proof of Play]

Direct
broadcast accounting

Airtime is verified not against a media plan, but against logs from device memory. The platform collects playback statistics for every point in the network. You get exact records — what aired, where, and how many times.
Why it matters: reports to advertisers, licensing fees, venue contracts, and verifying campaign delivery across the whole network — with facts, not trust.
[The payoff]

What's in it for you

Marketing

Content for the whole network — from one center. Ads and campaigns to any location and zone, without walking the floors by hand.

Operations

Locations under control in real time: what's playing, where it failed, who's online. No improvising on site.

Executive

Confidence that the right content is playing across locations, not a random one. Your brand is in hand, reputational risk is off the table.

Integrator

A flexible system for any site: from a single point to a distributed network. Fast deployment, one complete solution from one source.

[What sets us apart]

What makes us different

Not a feature list, but architectural decisions that systems stitched together from other people's parts simply don't have.

Offline First

A location keeps working without internet — the cloud only strengthens the system, it doesn't keep it afloat.

Proof of Play

Confirmation that content actually played — by fact, not by schedule.

Autonomy

The local loop doesn't depend on the cloud.

Open standards

No vendor lock-in.

Professional operation

Monitoring, updates, and your fleet under control.

[Our story]

From content
to a platform

Cadenza wasn't born as a startup idea or an attempt to build yet another media player. It all started with content.

For years we did music design for commercial spaces, and every day we hit the same wall: creating content is easier than playing it back reliably. On site there was a bit of everything — consumer players, Android boxes, laptops, USB sticks, scattered clouds.

We were looking for a system to manage content centrally, control playback, and not depend on unstable internet. We couldn't find a ready product — so we started building our own. First for ourselves, then for clients.

Individual solutions became devices, devices became a single platform, and the platform grew into Cadenza. Today that's content management, monitoring, Proof of Play, offline playback, and centralized delivery to distributed locations.

[FAQ]

STRAIGHT
TO THE FACTS

Direct answers to common questions. Got your own?

Yes. Playback and multiroom live locally. The cloud is for management, schedules, and content — but if it drops, the content doesn't. A player keeps going for weeks on its cache.

[Devices]

Five roles — one system

Each device plays its role in the system. Together they form a single media platform.
